Cytology Lectures

Here is the place to make available the cytotechnology lectures you would be willing to share with your colleagues. Unfortunately, wiki can't handle hosting a bunch of PowerPoints or we could just post them here. Instead we are using a great slide file sharing site, "slideshare.net" to accomplish this. To share PowerPoints on slideshare go to www.slideshare.net and create an account, download your lectures by clicking the upload button. On this page just put your name and the URL address to your slideshare account. Later you can share them on the cytology community group slideshare (instructions on how to do this will be posted soon).

Find the lectures available from Marty Boesenberg at Marty's lectures or go to http://www.slideshare.net/MartyB (Note: right now all lectures but one are available for viewing by invitation only (for security). To view, create a slideshare login and then emailme at martyboes@gmail.com with your slideshare contact name and I will invite you to view those lectures).

This wiki is intended to be a resource for Cytology Educators from the US for images and test questions; problems and solutions; strategies and best practices.
There are pages for each topic and room for anyone to add a page that addresses their interest. All are welcome to submit content, edit facts, add opinions, and share. All CAAHEP educators are welcome. Because of the test question database it would be unwise to invite non-educators to the site.

The tabs at the top are defined by the wetpaint website. Click on each one to see what features we have on the site.
The pages at the left are things we can create on our own. Check them out and add your contribution.
You can add content to any page. Just make sure you are signed in and then click the EasyEdit button to change or add to anything that is on the page. You can even add pages (at left, see add page at the bottom of the list).
Click on the Photos tab above to add/view/copy digital images. Put them in albums by theme or contributor, if you would like to.
To add an attachment to any page click More tools in the edit toolbar. It will let you add small attachments.
To request that someone (or everyone) do something, click the Add a To-Do in the edit toolbar.

Question Bank

Because of limited space on the wiki, we will be using Googledocs to share test questions. No one but members can see anything on CytologyEdwiki or our Googledoc page. It is by invitation only and no one is invited but cytology educators. To access Googledocs please send an email to martyboes@gmail.com and you will be invited to the community. There you will find a folder of cytology tests.
Upload any tests you are willing to share there. Be sure to include answers!!! It is recommended that you make answers to essay questions in italics and bold the correct answer in multiple choice tests.
Please be generous with your resources. If we all share our tests, policies, images, and lectures our programs will all be better for it!
